Job Description

The Vendor Alliances Director- Comstor will report directly to the AU Managing Director. This person will enable and engage with Comstor Sales teams to build demand in the Australian market. They will hold overall responsibility to ensure alignment to the vendor strategy, develop the relationship with the Vendors and own the Comstor Vendor financial targets.

Job Summary

  • To provide overall direction for the Vendor Alliances practice and to ensure organisational and associated vendor objectives are achieved.
  • To ensure business stability, process improvement and growth of the Vendor Alliances practice
  • To ensure key customer and vendor relationships are maintained from a senior level engagement - Cisco, F5 & Netapp
  • Development of strategic direction and alignment
  • Overall management of key personnel and team management processes.
  • Ownership and development of key relationships with Vendor Alliances vendors to ensure positivity and longevity
  • Product management and delivery of Revenue, GP and performance targets set by Comstor and vendors
  • To ensure business stability and growth and provide a predictable environment for business reporting.

Job Requirements

Skills and knowledge:

•Demonstrated reliability and work ethic from previous roles.
•Ability to work in an environment where priorities require constant reassessment and re-alignment to achieve goals.
•Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make recommendations based on the results
•Intermediate to Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills and comfortable with building simple formulae in spreadsheets.
•Good basic arithmetic skills, e.g. able to calculate gross margin %.
•Good written and oral English skills.
•Knowledge of IT networking highly regarded.
•General computer literacy with Microsoft Office products, and preferably ERP experience with SAP
