Technical Business Development Manager, Security - Wellington Preferred Location, Auckland Considered

Cisco and Westcon-Comstor have announced an expansion of their existing relationship, as a result we are looking for a Technical Business Development Manager aligned to the growth of the Cisco Security architecture across our reseller base.

Our Technical Business Development Team, provides pre-sales support to our customers, complimenting sales teams and solution architects by communicating value, architecting solutions, scoping work, and closing deals.

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

* Driving the identification and closure of opportunities, achieving targets and KPI's aligned to growth and new business within the Security segment
* Development and execution of vendor account plan
* Providing technical expertise and guidance to our partner channel
* Developing strong relationships within the partner community and internal support resources
* Collaborating with Vendor resources acting as an extension of their team

You'll focus on hunting and closing new partners and opportunities by developing and maintaining key relationships in organisations. You will bring your significant sales and business development experience gained in the technology sector. Your focus is for your customers to have you front
