Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Services Solutions Practice the Technical Engineer will fulfil a supporting role within the business unit. Specifically, the Technical Engineer will drive best in class practices to assist the department to ensure services delivery excellence in italian. The Technical Engineer will contribute to a high performance environment in order to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This position will be based in Madrid (Spain)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Providing customer support working with the Support Centre to troubleshoot faults and carry out change requests in italian (C2 level)
* Delivery of Project Services across Vendor's for the following activities
o Survey
o Audit
o Design
o Build
o Configuration
o Testing
* Pre Sales Support for the Sales team, including attending meetings with clients to determine requirements
* Documenting Statement of Works for Pre Sales activities.
* Documenting Designs, Implementation and Test Plans as part of the Project Delivery Service.
* Maintaining customer documentation
* Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
* Analysing system requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of systems
* Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge

Technology:
Expert knowledge of Westcon product portfolio offerings
Specialist knowledge of Vendors Networking, Security and Voice Communications technology
Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Desired Skills
-Native Italian speaker or high level (C2)
-Strong team player, working with teams across multiple geographies
-Technology experience and product knowledge essential
-Proven experience of Technical Engineering in the ICT industry
-Objective, professional & diligent
-Effective communicator at all levels - verbal & written

Qualifications
Relevant technical accreditations as required to Vendors (i.e. Cisco CCIE)
