Job Description

Westcon-Comstor are recruiting a Resource Coordinator on a 6 month FTC (for a maternity cover) to join the Services Solutions Practice. The Resource Coordinator will fulfil a supporting role within the business unit. Specifically, the Services Resources Coordinator will drive best in class practices to assist the department to ensure services delivery excellence. You will contribute to a high performance environment in order to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This role is based in our new office in Bracknell and is full-time. We will also consider part-time hours from 9.30am to 3pm with some flexibility.


* Manage the distribution of Company billable resources across projects, training, support and sales activity
* Manage resource requests and bookings in a proactive manner from request to assignment
* Work with the Services Management Teams to identify and allocate resources to Training, Projects, Support work orders
* Work with the Sales Teams to identify and allocate pre sales resources to for supporting sales in the Create quote process.
* Work with Sales to provisionally schedule resources whilst waiting for the Works Order.
* Engage with third party suppliers - to include management of the purchase order process for these third parties.
* Proactively identify and resolve resource issues and conflicts.
* Responsible for set up and maintenance of resourcing tools to ensure forecast data is accurate and reflective.
* Be principle administrator of the internal resourcing tool.
* Run weekly reminders and follow ups regarding timesheet compliance for services resources
* Provide accurate and timely reports and analysis to the Services Management Team - to include utilisation, resource constraints in terms of skills, geography and / or function.

* Some general knowledge of networking and communications technology
* Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
