JOB ROLE

Responsible for managing all requests for software license renewals for Microsoft as well as opportunity management, customer negotiation, sales closure against renewals target as well as forecasting



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assumes responsibility for managing all requests for software license renewals as well as opportunity management, customer negotiation, sales closure against renewals target as well as forecasting

-Supports department activities to achieve common goals and values in line with the vision of the Company
-Executes administrative tasks to support department objectives
-Drives personal productivity, utilization and development
-Identifies cross selling opportunities within Westcon's products and services portfolio
-Consults with appropriate internal resources for guidance and support in serving customers
-Ensures forecasts/ Pipeline reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
-Consults with customers in selling and supporting Westcon products and services
-Manages complex requests and resolving all discrepancies
-Drives excellent customer service by responding to requests and queries in a timely and professional manner

Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with management and company personnel

-Sets goals in accordance with Company objectives and tracks progress toward goals
-Provides assistance to area personnel as needed
-Keeps management informed of area activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant problems
-Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly
-Attends meetings as required

Assumes responsibility for related duties as requires or assigned

-Stays informed of developments in the Renewals field
-Completes special projects as assigned
-Attends all product related training and certification as required
-Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge
-Microsoft Licensing and Cloud Technology is essential
-Good knowledge of Westcon portfolio of products and services
-Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
-Microsoft Licensing and Cloud Technology advantageous

Education / Qualifications
-Matric

Experience
-Minimum of 2 years previous Microsoft Licensing and Cloud Technology is essential
-Experience in working with sales teams to maximize sales opportunities
