Product Manager - Cisco
Louisville, CO 80027

Position Description:

Drive sales of assigned architecture lines. Engage with vendor, marketing and sales teams to develop and execute growth programs to achieve sales targets.

Vendor and Customer Relations:

* Work closely with the sales teams to position product line
* Build visibility with vendors and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for Comstor
* Influence vendor and reseller to invest in your assigned architecture lines
* Build relationships with all key vendor contacts

Business Management:

* Track and drive rebate attainment in assigned architecture lines
* Develop plan to drive product growth and provide quarterly reviews of plan execution
* Refine growth plans on an ongoing basis as new opportunities come into play
* Identify ways to build margin by means of solution selling
* Ensure inventory position is adequate to fulfill sales pipeline


* Work with marketing to develop programs for demand creation and sales development
* Present vendor marketing programs and objectives to sales teams through training and promotion
* Obtain vendor funding for marketing events and programs
* Cross market complementary solutions into appropriate vertical segments

Sales Support:

* Support sales department with pre-sales and positioning of your product
* Provide certification roadmap information to sales for their partners
* Identify reseller targets for new recruitment opportunities
* Coordinate with vendor contacts to bring in new business
* Identify growth opportunities in assigned line and enable sales teams
* Position Comstor as the premier partner for both the vendor and reseller



* Knowledge of products in assigned portfolio
* Excellent knowledge of IT/Telecom industry
* Ability to use standard software: MS Office Applications


* Budgeting and Forecasting


* General understanding of marketing including product demonstrations
* Understand the market and competitive landscape
* Strong business development skills

Required Qualifications: (e.g., education, skills, abilities, knowledge)

* Minimum 3 years technology sales experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in IT (either sales or product management)
* College degree (preferably business, marketing, or management)
