Job Description


Responsible for providing presales technical support and service to customers of the Company. Works with business practice and sales to develop and execute compelling solution propositions for the Company, Resellers and their end users. Assists smaller resellers with implementation for their customers. Provide pre- and post-sales support. Provides technical training.


Assumes responsibility for effectively performing presales technical support and service to customers of the Company
-Generate and provide bill of materials as requested by the sales staff and business partners
-Design and scoping of solutions
-Successful delivery of proof of concept
-Provide technical product licensing expertise
-Handles in depth application and technical questions
-Focuses on reseller development through enablement, training and reseller certifications
-Support the efficient promotion of differentiating the Company value propositions through presales engagement and partner training
-Provide presentation and demonstrations for end users on behalf of our business partners
-Provides installation support, troubleshoots product related system problems
-In coordination with sales staff, proactively work within resellers to position product line and ensure comprehension of portfolio
-Build visibility with vendors and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for company products
-Maintain competitive awareness of other vendor products and other distribution activity
-Provide internal updates on a regular basis
-Represent vendor's product effectively and accurately

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers
-Provides customer training as necessary
-Makes reseller and end user visits to stay current with customer needs
-Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously
-Obtains and conveys information as needed
-Maintains the company's professional reputation by providing superior customer service

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management
-Provides in-house employee training as required
-Completes reports and documents as requested
-Acts as a resource and support to other team members
-Assists and supports area personnel as needed
-Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
-Attends and participates in meetings

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
-Attends all product related training and certification as required
-Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person


-Cisco qualifications and or networking experience will be advantageous

Required Knowledge
-Technical product licensing expertise
-In depth knowledge of technology

Experience Required
-2 or more years' related experience in presales
