Job Description

Westcon-Comstor are recruiting a Sales Executive / Account Manager / Internal Product Specialist (office based) for our Unified Communication & Collaboration Practice based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity to join the IT distribution sector and develop your track record as an experienced IT sales professional. We are partnering with very successful Vendors and together to support our Partners / Resellers.

About the role


This is a varied role focusing on sales and resellers partnership development. You'll be developing existing partners and selling standard products/solutions from Microsoft, Polycom, Plantronics or Avaya vendors for example. This is a specialist role and you'll receive training on the products and services.

You will need to:
* Develop a partnership and closing the sales
* Generate and provide customer quotes following our processes
* Follow up on customer quotes
* Be a point of contact for customer / resellers enquiries
* Develop a good business relationship with our Vendors
* Identify cross selling opportunities

About you

We look for people who share our culture and are passionate about technology. For this role, you will need some Sales experience with an appetite to succeed and earn money. You need to be self-motivated and willing to pick up the phone and talk to resellers our partners.

Desired skills include:
* Good communication
* Excellent attention to details
* Good Microsoft office skills
* Relationship building
* Some IT Channel experience is preferable but not essential
* Willingness to learn product and vendors Go To Market strategies is essential
