For our brand new and modern Velocity Expertise Contact Center we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Team lead with a sales profile and a drive to expand our current business. You will be working proactively with and supervising the Inside Sales Team with the aim to build intensive relationships with our current and future customers based on well thought Marketing campaigns and propositions that are developed together with our Vendors.

You will be working in our Velocity Expertise Contact Center with 40+ like-minded people at our Houten (NL) office which is designed to optimal support our people and give them the 'best place to work' feeling. Your team will consist of about 20 Inside Sales girls and boys and you will be primarily responsible for their success!

The Velocity Sales Team are a highly proactive team of Internal Sales Executives responsible for meeting both revenue and call volume targets. In the first phase outbound calls will be made to both existing and new customers (resellers and end-users), based on excellent marketing propositions and campaigns we're launching. At a later stage you and your team will be responsible for building extensive relationships with partners and be their first point of contact. The team will be working exclusively with 'owned' partners and by frequent and pro-active calling of their partners they are constantly focused on increasing the revenue numbers.

The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively keeping employee ánd customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

We are looking for a native speaker in one of the European languages and this needs to be combined with a business level English.

Your duties and responsibilities

o Supervising a team of approx. 20 Inside Sales people and make sure they meet targets
o Identifying customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions
o Seize opportunities to upsell and cross sell products when they arise
o Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
o Keep records of all conversations in our contact center database in a comprehensible way
o Frequently attend educational workshops to improve knowledge and performance level
o Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
o Meet the assigned sales revenue targets
o Maximise the revenue from by proactive call outs
o Delivery of compelling and engaging messages to our customers
o Being competent in the use of Salesview and OneView
o Deliver accurate quotes to partners in a timely manor
o Ensure that all quotes are followed up and a resolution recorded

Your profile

You are a Sales person at heart and a highly motivated Supervisor/Team Lead with excellent people management skills and a sharp eye for cultural differences. You are the person to go to for people in your team with any question they may have. Your role will be to motivate, coach, guide and work alongside with the team on a daily basis so they can become the best performer they can be.

It's important that you and your team constantly proactively collaborate with the Velocity Telemarketing Team, Vendors, Resellers and other Sales Teams in our company to become the preferred and trusted supplier for our partners and have optimal benefit from (tactical) call outs from yourself and your team.
There's no doubt you have very strong written and verbal communication and sales skills and Microsoft applications like Word, Outlook, Excel have no secrets for you.
It essential that you have a positive personality and can maintain an upbeat environment.

Desired Experience
 Understanding the different dynamics of a channel strategy
 Proven people manager skills
 Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Supervisor/Team Lead Call Center with 10+ staff
 Ability to drive Sales Strategy through the effective motivation of the Inside Sales Team
 Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
