Due to growth within the business, we have a fantastic opportunity an Annuity Lifecycle Specialist to join our thriving team. Based in Albany, Auckland, this role will be responsible for managing all requests for service maintenance renewals and is responsible for account & opportunity management, customer negotiation & sales closure against a team target. As we work closely with our Australian business we operate an 'ANZ' model for our annuity team ensuring a consistent approach and a high level of support across both countries.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, preferably in a sales or licensing role within IT. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to manage time effectively.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Managing the creation of customer quotes from vendor data, manage opportunity pipeline, follow up and close open opportunities
  • Proactively work with other departments to support customer requests.
  • Identify opportunities for new or increased sales, specifically upgrade or upsell.
  • Achieve set sales targets and renewal rates.
  • Driving margin improvement
  • Generation and analysis of reports
  • Form highly engaging relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication across the organisation
  • Maintain exceptional customer service, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Participating in the development of tools and resources to increase client renewal rates.

The key skills required for this role include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
  • Good administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up
  • Previous demonstrable successful experience in a customer facing role, with responsibility for achieving sales (revenue and margin) target preferable
  • The ability and thorough understanding to apply pricing, gross profit, discounts and margin calculations
  • Confident working with data
  • General knowledge of IT, in particular Licensing products would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
