Position Description:

Comstor Field Account Executives (FAE) are responsible for high touch, in person account development, and introduction of products and services available through Comstor. FAEs are required to reside within the territory they serve.
Comstor FAEs are business managers able to monitor and analyze customer base performance to identify areas of opportunity, and areas of company risk. Business Development managers must build deep knowledge around Comstor offers, and be prepared to discuss these offers, or engage the appropriate subject matter experts, in discussion as required by each customer interaction.


* Understand the Comstor offerings and be prepared to present the value proposition of each offer to customers.
* Manage and own their individual territory and sales targets
* Stay current on services that are available for customer accounts, and uncover new service opportunities within the customer accounts.
* Develop New Business for Comstor within existing accounts, or through prospecting for new accounts
* Drive achievement of established goals and success criteria for the assigned territory

Key Responsibilities and Duties;

* Develop awareness of Comstor in defined territory
* Identify new customers opportunities
* Create strategies to increase business with existing customers
* Manage a pipeline to achieve budgeted revenue stream.
* Drive interaction with defined customer accounts across multiple levels
* Drive interaction with Vendor resources locally and regionally
* Develop relationships with decision makers within the customer base
* Business planning/strategy
* Escalation of relevant issues
* Market feedback
* Organization of customer visits to ensure senior management engagement
* Internal Sales Support
* Ensure that customer support issues are being managed and resolved appropriately.
* Achieve set GP targets
* Operating within established budget
* Revenue and GP margin growth from targeted customers

Required Qualifications: (e.g., education, skills, abilities, knowledge):

* Post-Secondary education preferred
* 5-10 years of sales experience
* Track record of successful achievement of goals
* Extensive knowledge of IT Channel
* Data communications / network background
* General computer literacy
* Knowledge of and ability to accurately apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, margin calculations, and ROI calculations
