We are looking for a/an

Comstor Services Sales Lead - Europe (m/w)

Office location: Berlin

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The primary goal is to develop long-term sustainable, predictable revenues and margin contribution for Westcon Comstor, build net new incremental Service revenues for Westcon Comstor and support the growth of high-quality, high-value Services options for the channel.
Build and develop multi-directional relationships between Westcon Comstor and its channel partners.
You will be accountable for achieving the gross margin target for the designated area.
You will define and execute the local Services Sales strategy in line with the LOB Leadership and the Vendor strategies (including their architecture priorities in a given quarter). You will work in conjunction with the Area Services Delivery Leaders to define short, medium and long term goals and the required skills/resources to meet those goals across the Service Groups that make up the Services portfolio.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build and execute a Services Sales business plan. Build and maintain key relationships with LoB Executive Leadership and Vendor-aligned Management teams.
* Hit the quarterly Services target numbers for revenue and profitability, or be able to explain any discrepancies.
* Build & maintain new partnerships with key customers.
* Maintain accurate forecasting
* Responsible for monitoring the performance of the business development managers by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings; etc.
* Business analytics on market and competitor activities

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Well organized and methodical approach to work - able to multi-task
* Appreciation of critical timescales and the impact of delay on client perception
* Credibility both internally and externally - with colleagues, partners and customers
* Energy, drive and ambition to achieve business targets
* Excellent communication skills including management exec level presentation
* Mature, credible, highly professional, and comfortable in dealing with individuals at senior levels

QUALIFICATIONS

* At least 10 years relevant working experience with demonstrated expertise in sales management.
* Channel; Distribution, Systems Integrator or Vendor background
* Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
* Proven leadership and ability to drive teams.
* Graduate degree in business, computer science or engineering
* Possess strong business development in solutions and / or services sales skills
* Extremely strong written, verbal and communication skills in German and English (including proposal writing and presentation building)
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with Sales, Technical, and Operations resources
* Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to do quality work under tight deadlines
* Able to manage a frequent travel schedule.
