Job Description

Job Summary

  • To provide overall direction for the Comstor Sales team, including Cisco, NetApp F5 and any new vendors to ensure organisation, vendor and customer objectives are achieved.
  • To ensure business stability and growth and provide a predictable environment for business reporting.
  • Overall management of dedicated Comstor Sales to drive and achieve Comstor goals and targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve desired financial results for Australia (revenue, GP, rebates and market share)
  • Work with Comstor Business Unit Manager and Vendor Manager to develop and execute Comstor Business plan, incorporating individual vendor plans for Cisco, NetApp and F5
  • Provide a high level of response to all customer enquiries through the development of Key Service level commitment.
  • Provide an effective environment for personnel to execute their roles
  • As part of the Comstor management team, provide direction to the overall organisational strategy and objectives.
  • Annual and ad-hoc business planning
  • Sales Management
  • Incorporation of key partner enablement strategies

Business/Vendor Development

  • Build a complementary product portfolio for Cisco, NetApp and F5 products, being mindful of the impact on resources that each new vendor creates.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Strategic and tactical experience
  • Excellent presenter
  • Strong knowledge of business concepts.
  • Highly developed financial analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
  • Understanding of and ability to apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, margin calculations
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion skills

Experience:

  • Strong sales and business development experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the channel market
  • Experience managing and recruiting vendors
  • Vendor Management
  • Experience managing a sales team
