Job Summary

  • Work and Support Cisco and Comstor Product Management to:

  • Create specific RSP offers aligned to their business objectives.
  • Assign priority status to RSP's with Operations teams to keep high levels of service.
  • Support in creation of specific RSP collateral to enable Sales teams when required
  • Support Cisco by taking a leadership role providing competitive information on 2T vendor landscape.
  • Support with engagement into NBN Co in conjunction with Comstor and Cisco to execute in building NBN Co SP customers 2T/3T

  • Duties and Responsibilities

    • Identification of new markets to qualify untouched opportunities for Cisco technologies.
    • In conjunction with Cisco DCAMs for Service Provider accounts, build a reseller development plan for a nominated geographical area.
    • Set own appointments with SPs in a nominated geographical area.
    • Establish management contact within nominated SPs.
    • Develop an in depth knowledge of Cisco's partner certification/specialisation model especially as it applies to SMB or Mid-Market SPs.

    Skills and knowledge:

    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
    • Strong sales skills including the ability to qualify, negotiate, persuade and close.
    • Previous experience in selling to the reseller market would be highly regarded
    • Good administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up
    • Knowledge of data communications and networking; ability to position different products correctly
    • Excellent telephone selling skills and appointment setting skills
    • General computer literacy
    • Understanding of and ability to apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, margin calculations
    • Previous sales experience or certification would be highly regarded for this role
    • Demonstrated IT sales experience within data communications, networking, and VOIP.
