Job Description

This Sales Executive / Account Manager (office based) role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the IT distribution sector and develop your track record as an experienced IT sales professional. We are partnering with very successful Vendors and together to support our resellers.

You will act as the first point of contact with Westcon's Channel Partners, portraying a professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service. By applying sales and administrative skills the Business Development Coordinator will support the Commercial Manager and Business Development Managers to build and maintain an active customer base and to capitalise on sales opportunities. This role is based in our new offices in Bracknell.

About the role

Sales

* Customer database management (SFDC)and lead generation within named accounts
* Generating quotes for services (predominately Partner led PS and support (Westcon enabled)
* Ensure data quality targets and customer SLA's are achieved and maintained.
* Work with customers and sales to identify new and profitable opportunities

Customer Support

* Timely turnaround of quote
* Enablement of wider team to support client request
* Regular and timely updates via appropriate media (voice, video, mail, IM etc.)
* Professional presentation (documentation)

Administrative/Self Development

* Maintain and develop own knowledge of Westcon
* Learn the roles and responsibilities of Business Development, Solution Architects, Commercial Management
* Full understanding of all other roles within team

About you

We look for people who share our culture and are passionate about technology. For this role, you will need some good Customer Service and administrative experience with an appetite to succeed and learn. You need to be self-motivated. Some B2B sales experience in the IT Channel would be preferable.
