Due to exciting growth we are seeking a Technical Partner Manager, responsible for developing and increasing sales of the Comstor vendor portfolio within a defined strategic Tier 1 reseller partner.
As a national role, based in Albany, Auckland, this role will act as an extension to the vendor sales teams. Responsible for collaborating with vendor teams, attending their internal meetings and representing both the Comstor and Vendor brand in tandem.
Responsible for the defined targets within the defined T1 partner, this role is sales focused and its primary responsibility is closing opportunities. In addition there is a specific requirement to hold a technical skill set across the full Comstor Vendor technology portfolio.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Develop and execute business development / account plan understanding the partner go to market value
  • Achieve company-defined revenue and Gross Margin Profit targets
  • Pipeline management and forecasting
  • Productising for sell through opportunities
  • Working closely with partner TaaS go to market
  • Analyse and monitor the performance of the customer base to identify areas of opportunity
  • Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Support all vendor marketing initiatives by delivering them to the customer base
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Comstor product line to be able to effectively support customers

The key skills required for this role include:


* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively
* Proven ability to operate independently, under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
* Good administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up
* Strong negotiation/persuasion skills
* Demonstrable success in dealing with complex, multi-layer stakeholder management
* Strong understanding of the IT channel.
