Job Description

Reporting into the Supply Chain & Logistics Director, APAC we are currently seeking Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. This role involves overseeing and having responsibility for all the activities, which contribute to the supply chain within the Australian business. This role will be responsible for executing on the operational strategy of the business, translating these goals into implications for the operational performance, dependability and cost and continually monitoring this to ensure process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve the operational systems and processes that drive towards our strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for the development and optimisation of the AU supply chain, identifying opportunities for improvement in utilisation and reduction in costs.
  • Manage and develop value adding configuration services, ensuring hardware and software configuration is completed in line with customer requirements and within service level agreements.
  • Responsible for all RMAs back to Westcon including the process of returns to vendors and resupply to customers.
  • Oversight and management of all facilities across AU, responsible for lease management, facility security and maintenance.
  • Oversight of annual audits related to inventory and supply chain.
  • Enforce and drive awareness and compliance with the policies, processes, procedures, and requirements aligning with business objectives, ensuring that all operations are compliant with all Health and Safety procedures and local regulations,
  • Key involvement in all operational aspects of tender responses, project rollouts and vendor on boarding.
  • Prepare business analytics for Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Ops reviews.
  • Lead, motivate and development of the Supply Chain & Logistics team.
Requirements
  • Experience in Management of Operations
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Budget development and oversight experience
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited university desirable.
