Job Description

Westcon-comstor is recruiting a Payroll Manager to be based at our head office in Cirencester. The Payrol Manager will be responsible for the administration and completion of the UK payroll of approximately 600 heads via ADP Payroll Bureau. This is a great opportunity to work part of our EMEA Finance team and work collaboratively with our HR Department.


* Accurate and timely submission of all payroll data for the UK and main contact with the UK payroll bureau.
* Collaborating with UK benefit provider to ensure the correct treatment and administration of payroll benefits
* Payroll process owner - proactively documenting and improving payroll process and controls in the UK.
* Strong, positive, proactive, working relationship with Finance and HR

* Compiling all data to send to payroll bureau whilst ensuring appropriate approvals are in place, and challenging where appropriate.
* Checking all data is correct from reporting received back and taking full ownership of all items related to the UK payroll.
* Ensuring all payroll dates are efficiently managed and achieved.
Items included:-
* Monthly payroll for employees.
* Non-salary payments such as; commission, overtime, bonus, pension, maternity, paternity, sickness etc
* P11d submissions
* P60's submission
* P45's
* Ensuring all financial payments are made correctly; including:-
* Pension
* Childcare
* CCJ's
* Bupa

* Ensuring the Balance Sheet accounts relating to payroll; payroll control account, pension, PAYE, etc. are reconciled every month and fully substantiated.


* Excellent payroll knowledge using ADP Bureau and ongoing legislative knowledge.

* Strong Excel skills.

* This person must have the confidence & Integrity to tactfully challenge senior managers to ensure that proper processes and controls are maintained
