Job Description

This position is based our Berlin's office. The role of the EMEA Marketing Automation Manager is to support the management and execution of our EMEA marketing campaigns through our marketing automation platform Pardot to support our strategic vendor programmes and business initiatives. Working as part of the EMEA digital marketing team, the Marketing Automation Manager will focus on the successful management of campaigns which drive customer engagement, enablement and demand.

The Marketing Automation Manager will need to work proactively with our marketing teams and other stakeholders across EMEA and will help provide support, training and best practice sharing to improve our marketing effectiveness and performance and providing reports to the business which help track campaign performance and effectiveness.

The role will also be required to support the development and adoption of advanced Pardot capabilities, lead management and our forthcoming integration with our CRM platform and will be responsibility for GDPR as it pertains to marketing at Westcon-Comstor.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Setting up automated campaigns to support marketing and campaign objectives - including dynamic fields, workflows, templates, opt-ins, preferences, A/B testing and consent
* Setting up landing pages and editing html
* Prioritising the workload coming from different marketing teams and other parts of the business, managing its timely delivery through collaboration with the digital team and any other required stakeholders
* Support and own projects from inception to completion for a variety of campaigns and ensure integration with other business divisions where required
* Ensure proper campaign tracking and establish internal benchmarks for performance measurement
* Supporting local marketing teams with the implementation and execution of campaigns
* Training marketing teams on Pardot and emarketing best practices
* Governance around Pardot and reinforcement of best practice and emarketing processes
* Auditing usage of Pardot, identifying areas for development or training
* Ensuring GDPR compliancy and managing this with marketing teams
* Compile reports and help analyse reports to develop insights which can improve our campaign performance
* Uploading/introducing contacts to Pardot and auditing quality of data
* Helping optimise our usage of Pardot with CRM integration, such as lead scoring, grading, data capture
* Support and contribute to the ongoing development of our marketing automation strategy

* Proven hands-on experience with Pardot and other emarketing/marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Hubspot

o Conversion funnel optimisation
* Strong Email marketing and campaign management background - design, implementation and reporting
* Data driven approach is essential - Advanced Excel skills and ability to build insights from analysis of data
* List management experience
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment with diverse projects - able to prioritise multiple projects and multi-task
* Strong project management experience - ability to manage challenging time-scales and anticipate issues
* Proficiency in HTML and CSS ideal
* Logical thinker with strong problem solving skills
* Self-motivated, determined and adaptable
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Can work independently but also as part of a team
* Ability to work as part of a geographically disperse team
* Proficiency and experience with CRM softwares (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and integration with a marketing automation platform.
