Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve company-defined revenue and Gross Margin Profit targets
  • Make regular face-to-face and telephone contact with existing and new resellers with key contacts within the business, spanning from individual contributors to CXO and director levels
  • Develop vendor solution strategy plans for account and executing these plans
  • Analyse and monitor the performance of the customer base to identify areas of opportunity and to pre-empt customer issues
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date with relevant developments from all vendors and Westcon - Comstor
  • Support the marketing team in delivering appropriate marketing campaigns to the local customer base
  • Support all vendor marketing initiatives by delivering them to the customer base
  • Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Report back to management on relevant market information
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Westcon Group product line to be able to effectively support customers
  • Attend all relevant vendors' product briefings and updates.

Experience

  • Demonstrable IT solution selling experience through/with channel, preferably within data communications and networking
  • Ideally, will possess good technology skills across the Westcon - Comstor Technology Pillars i.e. LAN/WAN networking, security, UCC and storage, Cloud and services
  • Strong knowledge of the IT channel and possess current industry contacts.
